Terms of Service
Last updated: July 19, 2026
These terms cover your use of Mola — the web preview at mola-tattoo.com and the Mola app on the App Store (and, in future, Google Play). By using either, you agree to these terms.
What Mola is
Mola tiles a tattoo design across A4 pages so it can be printed at full size on any regular printer. The web version is a free preview: you can upload a design, crop it, and see how it tiles, but the pages come out deliberately distorted and aren't meant for printing. The Mola app is a one-time paid purchase through the App Store that exports a clean, print-ready PDF.
Your designs
Your designs are yours. Mola doesn't claim any ownership over artwork you upload, and — as covered in our privacy policy — nothing you upload is sent to us or stored anywhere; it's processed entirely on your own device or in your browser.
You're responsible for having the right to use and print whatever design you upload. Don't use Mola to reproduce artwork you don't have the rights to.
Purchases and refunds
The Mola app is a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring fees. Purchases are processed entirely by the App Store (or Google Play, once available); we never see your payment details. Refund requests are handled by Apple (or Google) under their own refund policies, not by us directly — we're happy to point you in the right direction if you're not sure how, via the contact form.
Acceptable use
Use Mola for its intended purpose: preparing tattoo stencils for printing. Don't try to break, reverse-engineer, or abuse the app or website in ways that could disrupt it for other people.
No warranty
Mola is provided "as is." We've tested the sizing math carefully (it's the whole point of the app), but we can't guarantee the app will be error-free or that a print will always come out perfectly — printer settings, paper, and other factors outside our control all affect the final result. See our support page for common printing issues and how to avoid them.
To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Mola — for example, a botched print or a tattoo that didn't come out the size you expected. Always double-check a printed page against a ruler before using it as a stencil.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus.
